Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on critical conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using electronic health records
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with clinical judgment
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN license (compact license accepted)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
