Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of treatment. You will serve as an advocate for your patients and a vital link in our healthcare network.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, progress, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience (New graduates welcome to apply).
- Strong computer proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
