Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse clinical units including ICU, ER, and Medical-Surgical floors
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using advanced electronic health records systems
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain infection control standards and regulatory compliance at all times
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
