Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units with precision and empathy
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management strategies
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to OSHA/JCAHO standards
- Participate in rapid response and emergency care situations
Qualifications
- Active NE RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience highly valued)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
