Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately with attention to safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient progress using electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
- Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards including HIPAA and OSHA
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri or Virginia
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
