Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the wider interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, symptoms, and progress in the EHR system.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations to ensure patient safety.
- Provide clear education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
