Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (new graduates welcome with relevant internship experience).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
