Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions, document vital signs, and update medical records in the EHR system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond swiftly and calmly to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
