Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and electronic health records.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- CPR/BLS certification and ACLS certification (if applicable to unit).
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and sound judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
