Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in strict adherence to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the charge nurse or provider.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care provided.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred (New grads with strong clinical rotations will be considered).
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
