Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in continuing education and skills development programs
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois RN license (or eligibility to obtain immediately)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Passion for patient-centered care
- Completion of clinical rotations or nursing program within 6 months
