Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care plans, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure post-discharge success.
- Maintain a sterile environment and strictly adhere to infection control and safety standards.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and provide high-quality critical care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
