Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and family members.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and adherence to safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on post-care instructions and disease management.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or home health setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
