Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and treatment according to established medical plans.
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms, and report changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
