Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and legal standards.
- Monitor and record patient symptoms, changes in condition, and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
