Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs, administering medications, and monitoring patient vitals.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and adhere to strict safety protocols and hospital standards.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
