Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions continuously, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) with precision.
- Provide patient and family education regarding disease management, medication side effects, and discharge planning.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and organized environment in compliance with infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification is required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical setting.
