Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status closely.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient data, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely in the EMR system.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and discharge instructions.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and perform basic life support when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
- Computer literacy with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
