Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in code blue situations.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg experience is a plus).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
