Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses, initiating emergency protocols when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and medical records.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication management, and wellness strategies.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
