Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient recovery.
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment by adhering to safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (New grads welcome with BSN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer systems.
