Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Document patient information, observations, and interventions accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and stabilize patient conditions effectively.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on patient safety.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
