Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, identifying potential complications or deterioration.
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and initiate appropriate life-saving measures.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
