Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering data, physical and psychosocial.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care services in accordance with legal standards and facility policies.
- Monitor and record vital signs and symptoms, reporting changes to the charge nurse.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
