Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations with clinical expertise
- Document patient records accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental performance metrics
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license with PA residency)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (emergency, ICU, or med-surg preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
