Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive virtual patient assessments and triage services via secure telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret patient data from remote monitoring devices and electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication protocols, and telehealth technology
- Document clinical encounters accurately in compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and remote care program development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and remote assessment skills
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
