Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to changes in condition.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
