Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical indicators, promptly escalating concerns to the charge nurse or physician.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and outcomes accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care and successful treatment outcomes.
- Provide clear, empathetic education to patients and families regarding their care plans and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Nevada Board of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, though exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply.
