Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering data, history, and physical examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor and record patient symptoms and reactions to treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Respond to medical emergencies and critical situations with urgency and precision.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license to practice in the State of Indiana.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
