Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and patient care documentation
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Support patients' emotional well-being through active listening and companionship
- Transport patients safely within the facility for medical procedures and activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop personalized care plans
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
