Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Computer literacy with EMR systems.
