Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor vital signs and respond immediately to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (New graduates with residency programs considered).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
