Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Providing patient and family education regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
