Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and intervene immediately during medical emergencies.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and infection-free environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (New graduates welcome with appropriate certification).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
