Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and detect any changes in condition immediately.
- Document patient data accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
