Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history to identify changes in health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and charge nurses.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, medications, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist in code blue situations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and medical equipment as necessary.
