Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the wider healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient advocacy and education to promote health and wellness.
- Assist in code situations and emergency response protocols as needed.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred (1+ years).
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
