Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with strict safety protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical status accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in code blue situations when required.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for team collaboration.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
