Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols and hospital policies.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health management, recovery processes, and preventive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- ACLS certification preferred for high-acuity settings.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining high standards of care.
