Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient health status through comprehensive physical exams and health histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and understanding.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
