Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition to ensure safety.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, assessments, and care activities.
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge planning support to promote health literacy.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards including HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California (CA RN License).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, though new graduates are considered.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
