Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough health assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and licensure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document patient care activities, symptoms, and progress in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Education: Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-care instructions.
- Shift Adaptability: Maintain high standards of care across all assigned shifts, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or PALS preferred depending on unit.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (New graduates eligible for specific mentorship programs).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing patient loads and protocols.
- Technology: Proficiency in navigating modern EHR systems and medical software.
