Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing health needs, creating care plans, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient treatment plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes or medical emergencies to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient data accurately in electronic health records (EHR) to maintain clear communication and legal compliance.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative health measures.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Wisconsin.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Clinical experience in a hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and computer technology.
