Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in a patient's condition immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Active RN License issued by the state of Kansas.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS preferred for specialized units).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
