Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols and hospital policies.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions in real-time, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical notes, assessments, and interventions.
- Provide clear education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all infection control standards and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (ASN, BSN, or MSN) required.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- ACLS certification preferred for units requiring advanced cardiac support.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
