Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols, physician orders, and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status continuously, responding immediately to changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide empathetic education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in high-volume settings.
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and quality care standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
