Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions, intervene in emergencies, and document all clinical findings.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients on disease management and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
