Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Document patient care services, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kentucky.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of patient volume.
