Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through interviews, observations, and physical examinations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Provide patient education and health counseling to promote wellness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to show compassion and professionalism in patient interactions.
