Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, medical history, and strengths/weaknesses to formulate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to critical changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (new graduates considered with relevant internship).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
